Like I have said earlier on this guide, signing up for an account is very simple and free. You can sign up to Facebook using the app or web site. Follow the simple steps below to sign up:

1. Launch the app on your device or access your browser and go to Facebook.
2. Tap on the “Create New Account” tab once the site has loaded.
3. Enter your First name, Surname and hit on “Next”.
4. Choose your date of birth from the options displayed.
5. Enter your phone number or tap on sign up with email address and fill in your email.
6. Choose the gender you want for the account: Female, Male or Custom and hit “Next”.
7. Choose a new password for the account and hit on Sign Up.

The account would be created and you will receive a confirmation from Facebook. The confirmation could come as an email or a text.
